What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
